About Grayson
About
From the age of 5, Grayson's heart belonged to baseball, and he poured his energy into the sport he loved. As a valued member of the Ironmen baseball team, his dedication and skill on the field inspired all who watched him play. Yet, beyond his athletic prowess, Grayson's warm and welcoming nature endeared him to everyone he encountered. With a smile that could brighten the darkest day, he effortlessly forged connections, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to meet him. During his battle Grayson showed amazing courage and exhibited an awe-inspiring mental toughness. He fought bravely using composure that most adults could not muster. His family continues to be inspired by his ability to overcome his daily circumstances over the past year, either through Roblox games, MLB the Show, a laugh, a giggle or unforgettable charm.
In his short time on Earth, Grayson taught us the true meaning of courage, resilience, and unconditional love. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever echo in the memories of those who were touched by his kindness and grace.
Our Mission
At Grayson Deckard Memorial, our mission is two-fold:
First, to provide financial assistance and counseling to local youth baseball players with scholarships, uniforms, equipment and any other financial needs.
Second, we want to bring attention to childhood cancer and assist families that may have a young baseball player diagnosed with cancer providing financial assistance and counseling.
